The world needs our giving professionals in all their strength and wisdom.
Rooted and Rising was founded on integrative, interactive and intentional education. Trees grow in all directions, and we believe education should be centered in what is most natural and authentic to clinicians, rooted in the vast expertise of our community and it should rise above the systems that limit our capacity for growth.
We are grounded in understanding the deep necessity for our clinicians to be well - and that well-being should be determined by the clinician, not the expectations of those around them. Caring for those that are suffering, advocating for change, challenging norms of systemic oppression and racism, bearing witness and soothing wounds is not a one-person job - Rooted and Rising Education was established with the belief that we must connect and become community.
Who Do We Serve?
We offer continuing education and development for those in giving professions who support our communities to find healing and connection.
This includes those with varying degrees and licensure levels including Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Counselors, Mental Health Counselors, Teachers, Medical Professionals, Naturopaths and more.
Our Continuing Education Options
Live Interactive Online Trainings
Live online interactive trainings are primary for us. They allow us to keep our trainings fully interactive, but accessible to wherever you are. Studies indicate the more interactive the training, the more the information moves into our working knowledge, where we can more readily disseminate how to apply and engage the learning into our own practice.
These workshop trainings focus on the experiential model of training.
Live Interactive In-person Trainings
These trainings are our absolute favorite because we get to be in-person. Right now all our in-person trainings will be held at Just Living Farm so we can learn in an outdoor natural environment.
So many of us work within the confinements of four walls and a small window. Placing education outdoors allows us to be fully in community, learning from one another, and learning a natural environment.
